Have had a successful career in managing operations both in private and public sector organisations. I have now moved into the academia and management training fields and have close association with logistics and supply chain professional bodies. I have spearheaded the development and delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes in Business Strategy, Logistics and Supply chain management at London Metropolitan University, Thames Valley University and Basingstoke College of Technology in the UK. Having attained Chartered membership status of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT UK) over twenty years ago, I have continued to participate in the advancement of the profession through active engagement in contemporary debates, book reviews and other organised events within the logistics and supply chain fraternity. I am a Doctorate researcher at Birmingham City University with research interest in Corporate Social Responsibility.

Responsible for the efficient and effective management of the Authority’s Transport Business (2500 vehicles) with an overall budget of US$ 50m (equivalent) and a staff compliment of 104 employees. Transformed this business into a viable commercial enterprise attaining ISO 9002 accreditation.  
1981 – 1989: Traffic Officer, National Railways of  Zimbabwe,

Responsible for the timely processing traffic claims and statistical analysis and evaluation of the economic viability of scheduled routes making appropriate recommendations. Supervised a team of 23 staff  members.
