Dr Mohamed Darwish

Dr Mohamed Darwish is a senior lecturer in Power Electronics and Systems, School of Engineering and Design at a UK University. He has over 20 years experience of research and teaching in the area of Power Electronics and Electric Machines.  His research interests include Power Active Filtering techniques, UPS systems and Power Quality issues.

BSc (1st Hons) Helwan University, Cairo, 1978
PhD Brunel University, UK 1987
Chartered Engineer
Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET)
Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE)

Over 80 papers in leading journals and conferences and two books on "Notes on Electrical and Electronic Engineering" and "The Essence of Electrical, Electronic, Power Electronics and Mechatronics Engineering"
