Reports play an important part in the life of a professional engineer: they are link between the writer and colleagues and clients worldwide. Engineers are often judged by the quality of their reports; a poorly composed document will not reflect your technical expertise or the reputation of your organisation. Topics covered include:

  • Methods of structuring information into an appropriate format
  • The need to identify the readership and the objectives
  • Summarising information to achieve maximum impact
