OBJECTIVES:

By the end of the course, delegates will:
  • Be able to list the main sedimentological characteristics of carbonate rocks;
  • Be able to define typical carbonate geometries;
  • Know how to correlate on logs carbonate reservoir, using sequence stratigraphy methodology;
  • Know how to relate facies, diagenesis and reservoir properties
  • Be able to relate phenomena observed on outcrops to typical carbonate reservoir problems
